The Opportunity

The Superhuman Finance team is hiring a Senior Manager, Accounting Operations to own the monthly close, lead a small high-performing team, and modernize how we run core accounting. This role is about driving measurable improvement in close timeliness, reporting quality, and operating efficiency across a fast-growing, multi-entity environment — combining strong technical execution with a hands-on, tooling-forward mindset. This is also a core integration role. We have completed several acquisitions with multiple integrations in flight, and this person is a key member of our finance integration office — transitioning acquired-company close processes onto our platform and helping migrate acquired entities onto our ERP.

The ideal candidate is operationally hands-on, technically deep in US GAAP, and genuinely energized by automation. You’ll build practical AI-enabled workflows on top of NetSuite, Numeric, Superhuman-built internal tools, and the broader stack — eliminating manual work and freeing the team for higher-value analysis. You bring deep close ownership experience, the people-leadership instincts to develop a team, and the resilience and judgment to thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.

You’ll report to the Head of Technical Accounting and directly manage a Senior Accountant and a Staff Accountant.
