WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to drive agency growth in Germany. This role is focused on generating commercial momentum in market through proactive new business development, strong agency engagement and excellent end-to-end sales execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships, generating briefs, converting opportunities and growing revenue in Germany, working closely with a dedicated international cross-functional team in London to deliver campaigns successfully and consistently. It is an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage, with the chance to help create future growth opportunities as the market develops. This will come to bear through being a:

1. New business seller – proactively generating opportunities in market, building relationships with agency stakeholders and creating a healthy flow of relevant briefs
2. Solutions-led commercial operator – responding to briefs with strong proposals, clear storytelling and well-structured omnichannel solutions that reflect MiQ’s capabilities and differentiate us in market
3. Relationship builder – developing trusted relationships with agencies and advertisers to support repeat business, incremental growth and longer-term partnership opportunities over time

KEY RESPONSIBILITITES

• Drive commercial growth in Germany through:
  • Generating new business opportunities across agencies, with a focus on building momentum and growing MiQ’s revenue in market 
  • Mapping stakeholders across target agencies to focus prospecting on the right people, creating a consistent flow of qualified commercial opportunities
  • Identifying and converting opportunities through compelling, insight-led proposals and clear articulation of MiQ’s omnichannel capabilities
  • Leading commercial opportunities end to end, from prospecting and brief attainment through to proposal, media plan delivery, negotiation and close

• Deliver excellent sales execution by:
  • Responding to briefs with pace, quality and strong commercial judgement, ensuring MiQ is consistently well positioned in competitive situations
  • Working closely with Trading, Account Management and Strategy teams to scope opportunities effectively and deliver strong, well-rounded responses
  • Ensure campaigns are set up for success by maintaining clear communication and strong coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Using Sigma and MiQ’s broader product suite in a relevant and differentiated way to strengthen proposals and customer conversations
  • Maintaining high standards in proposal writing, storytelling, pitching and general commercial execution

• Build strong market relationships and long-term growth potential by:
  • Building trusted relationships across agencies and with clients, grounded in credibility and a strong understanding of their priorities
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting and clear pipeline visibility in Salesforce
  • Growing relationships in a way that drives repeat business and incremental revenue
  • Feeding market insight back into European and global teams to strengthen MiQ’s positioning in Germany

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Significant experience in digital, data, analytics or programmatic sales, with proven success selling into agencies in Germany. 
• Strong understanding of full-funnel, omnichannel monetisation – across CTV, YouTube, high-impact display, DOOH, audio, native and social – including the nuances of each channel.
• Clear evidence of building fantastic partnerships with the right agency stakeholders and client leads, with a track record of delivering revenue growth through those relationships.
• A strategic and commercial mindset, able to identify where MiQ can win incremental share in Germany and translate that into concrete sales plans and narratives.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build compelling proposals and articulate end-to-end media and analytics solutions from briefing stage through to delivery.
• A self-starting, hands-on approach: you are comfortable building your own decks, progressing opportunities end-to-end, operating autonomously in a new-market environment.
• A people-first and collaborative style: you naturally self-orientate towards others, build strong cross- functional relationships and are motivated by collective goals as well as personal success.
• A curious and confident approach to using AI; you are keen to keep building your understanding as the space evolves, and are excited about the opportunities AI brings.
• Fluent German and English, with the confidence to represent MiQ effectively in local and international settings.
• An ambition and strong, growth-oriented mindset to help MiQ establish its position in Germany – a clear can-do attitude and desire to grow alongside MiQ as we build in market.
