Advertising Sales Manager - Shenzhen

As an Advertising Sales Manager on the Greater China Advertising Sales Team in our Shenzhen office, you'll play a vital role in driving new business growth by building strategic partnerships with brands and agencies across Greater China. You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—helping advertisers achieve their marketing goals through Taboola's performance-driven advertising solutions while expanding our market presence.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 4+ years of experience selling digital media or advertising solutions in the China market, with a proven track record of driving new business.
- Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a healthy pipeline, and accurately forecasting revenue.
- Demonstrated success presenting, negotiating, and closing complex advertising deals with brands and agencies.
- Experience using data and insights to identify opportunities and shape client strategies.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to improve research, prospecting, proposal creation, and daily sales workflows.
- Team player – the advertising sales manager will engage with stakeholders across the business including but not limited to account management, marketing, legal and product.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience selling DTC e-commerce advertising or e-commerce related products
- Hands-on experience with market/competitive research tools such as SimilarWeb to support prospecting and account planning.
- Bonus points if you've built or customized AI agents to automate lead generation, research, or other sales tasks — we love resourceful, tech-savvy sellers who use AI to work smarter.
How you'll make an impact:
- Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy.
- Build relationships with brand and performance focused agency contacts and explain the power of Taboola’s native, choice-based advertising platform.
- Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
- Interact with the Greater China Advertiser Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Convey field intelligence to product management teams in regards to development of features.
- Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts within the Greater China market.
