The Customer Relationship Manager – Healthcare Advanced Materials will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and strengthening customer partnerships across Advanced Materials segment of DuPont Healthcare Solutions. This role will serve as a key commercial interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams, translating customer needs into actionable opportunities and supporting projects from early qualification through development, stage-gate progression, and commercial execution. With a strong focus on customer centricity, pipeline development, issue resolution, market intelligence, and enterprise account growth, the Customer Relationship Manager will identify new business opportunities, support cross-selling across DuPont’s Healthcare Solutions portfolio, and help position DuPont as a trusted strategic partner in the customer’s supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Upholds DuPont Healthcare Solutions vision and core values
Serve as the Voice of the Customer to the internal cross- functional teams
Focused on the Key Accounts, capture detailed customer requirements to support execution of the opportunity pipeline from customer engagement to commercial production
Progresses sales opportunities through the initial qualification stages; supports viable projects through the developmental stage gate processes as a representative of the commercial function and the end customer.
Supports product management in the creation of business cases for opportunity pipeline projects by gathering clear requirements such as specifications, application details and annual volumes etc. from the customer. Works in conjunction with and supports the Key Account Manager.
Champions the customer needs internally by bringing cross-functional individuals or teams together and resolving problems with a sense of urgency including escalations, quality resolutions, on time delivery, order prioritization, documentation, regulatory and contract related documentation support.
Partnering with the Key Account Manager, works across the various business units of the enterprise customer accounts, and supports identification of cross-selling opportunities across the portfolio offerings of DuPont Healthcare Solutions.
Be familiar with Salesforce, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track opportunities through the stages. Receive adequate information from the customer to quantify and qualify the opportunities to develop a valid business case.
Participate in the various stage gate process meetings including global intake and Next On and provide required information to progress opportunities through execution.
Provide leadership and act as a liaison between DuPont Healthcare Solutions and assigned accounts on all significant sustaining programs and corrective actions.
Responsible for identifying potential new technologies that could enhance the DuPont offerings at assigned accounts and communicating needs to the management team.
Attend and participate in trade show activities to network and generate new business opportunities.
Execute Inside Sales activities by hunting for leads using secondary research tools, qualify and handover to Account Managers for follow-up and pipeline build.
Provide and present market and customer intelligence with the DuPont Healthcare Solutions management team.
Ability to comprehend and comply with company safety standards.
All other duties, as assigned.
Work closely with:
R&D, Technical Service / Application Development and Plant leadership teams to develop potential new product offerings
All associates within the expanded DuPont Healthcare Solutions sales and marketing teams to reinforce a ONE DuPont Team selling environment
Program management, customer service and engineering teams as required throughout the entire quoting process
Provide professional leadership skills that will consistently support and deliver Dupont core values
Support the Annual Business and Strategic Planning Process which includes both written and verbal presentation
Participate and support key industry organizations and functions to promote the mission, value statements and objectives as outlined in the annual business plan.
Competencies/Skills
BS Degree, with major or emphasis in Engineering or Science
Several years of new business development, engineering or account management experience in the medical industry with a focus advanced materials or education in Medical Devices / Life Sciences / Healthcare Advanced Materials in lieu of professional experience preferred
Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and the ability to influence internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills supported by a self-disciplined operating structure.
Superior time management/prioritization skills
Self-starter that takes initiative and is action oriented.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to share your findings, observations, and opportunities with a wide audience.
Computer Skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce CRM, SAP, and other business and database programs
Strong business analytical skills

Possess the vision and leadership skill sets that will successfully drive change and position DuPont as the lead supplier in the customers supply chain.
