Job Description:
As an E-commerce Social Manager, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of commerce-focused paid social campaigns across TikTok, Meta, and other emerging channels. You will manage solutions such as TikTok GMV Max and Meta Collaborative Ads (CPAS), connecting media investment with product feeds, marketplace activity, and measurable sales outcomes.
This role requires strong e-commerce and performance-marketing expertise, hands-on platform knowledge, commercial and analytical thinking, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced agency environment. Experience building campaign automation or scalable workflow solutions is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop comprehensive e-commerce paid social strategies aligned with revenue, GMV, profitability, customer-acquisition, and marketplace objectives.
- Create full-funnel commerce media plans covering budget allocation, product and catalog strategy, audience segmentation, promotional calendars, and performance forecasting.
- Identify growth opportunities across TikTok Shop, Meta partner platforms, marketplaces, and emerging social-commerce channels.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee end-to-end execution of e-commerce paid social campaigns, including TikTok GMV Max, TikTok Shop Ads, Meta Collaborative Ads (CPAS), catalog sales, and retargeting.
- Ensure accurate campaign setup, product-feed health, catalog integration, pixel and event tracking, attribution, naming conventions, and measurement frameworks.
- Monitor daily performance and optimize toward commerce KPIs such as GMV, ROAS, cost per order, conversion rate, average order value, new-customer acquisition, and contribution margin.
- Manage pacing, budgets, product-level investment, and promotional priorities to minimize over- or underspend while maximizing incremental sales.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Lead preparation of commerce performance reports and business reviews that connect media delivery with marketplace and sales results.
- Deliver actionable insights on audiences, products, creatives, promotions, inventory signals, and platform performance to improve revenue and efficiency.
- Conduct post-campaign and promotional-event analysis, document key learnings, and translate them into repeatable optimization playbooks.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for e-commerce paid social, coordinating with planners, platform partners, and internal specialists.
- Present performance, commercial implications, tests, and strategic recommendations confidently to stakeholders.
Team Leadership, Collaboration & Automation
- Mentor and supervise junior team members on commerce campaign setup, optimization, analysis, and platform best practices.
- Review campaign setups, catalogs, tracking, pacing, and reporting outputs to maintain operational and data quality.
- Collaborate with commerce, marketplace, planning, creative, analytics, data, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign deployment.
- Identify and build scalable campaign automation solutions for setup, QA, pacing, reporting, alerts, or optimization using scripts, APIs, workflow tools, or platform integrations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing performance-driven paid social campaigns, with meaningful exposure to e-commerce or social commerce.
- Strong hands-on expertise in TikTok Ads, including GMV Max and TikTok Shop solutions, and Meta Ads, including Collaborative Ads (CPAS) and catalog-based campaigns.
- Experience managing large budgets, complex campaign structures, product catalogs or feeds, and high-volume promotional periods.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to connect media metrics to GMV, revenue, orders, profitability, and customer growth.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with dashboarding, feed-management, analytics, or marketplace tools is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns, catalogs, promotions, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong interest in e-commerce, social commerce, performance marketing, retail media, and audience strategy.
- Plus point: experience building campaign automation using scripts, APIs, macros, workflow tools, or no-code/low-code platforms for setup, QA, reporting, pacing, alerts, or optimization.
