- Our client is a publicly-traded organization in the financial services industry that specializes in insurance product offerings. As a globally recognized brand, this company has found success in niche markets for over five decades and counting.
- They need you, an experienced Software Development Manager, to join the growing team located in Austin, Texas. Please note, this is a HYBRID role based in Austin, TX.
- What you get to do:
- -Manage a growing team of experienced software engineers working with C#/.NET
-Provide technical leadership to the development team and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices
-Create a diverse development team, taking ownership of recruiting, performance management, and career growth opportunities
-Lead multiple initiatives of various sizes simultaneously in this Kanban-style environment
Qualifications
- What you need to succeed:
- -2+ years of software team leadership/management experience
-4+ years of previous hands-on software development experience working with C#/.NET
-Proven ability to manage software development engineers in Kanban environment(s)
-Excellent understanding of SDLC best practices with the ability to bring projects to completion on time and within budget
-Previous insurance industry experience isn’t required to be successful in this role, but is a major plus!
