Regional Sales Manager, West Region- Telguard

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by acquiring new customers, developing strategic account relationships, and expanding existing business. The role requires a highly consultative sales approach, strong relationship management skills, extensive territory management, and frequent travel to customer sites and industry events.
Location Requirement: To effectively support our West Region operations, candidates must reside within the Western United States. Ideally located near a major airport within California, Arizona, Utah, or Nevada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed annual revenue and sales goals and sales targets
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, outbound calling, email campaigns, webinars, and in-person meetings.
- Manage and grow existing customer and strategic account relationships.
- Maintain sales opportunities, customer activity, and forecasting in Salesforce.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sales webinars.
- Collaborate with strategic accounts and support internal sales teams on account-related processes.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Represent the company at trade shows and customer events.
- Manage travel expenses and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Coordinate trade show logistics and materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of sales and customer support experience.
- 3 to 5 years of CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
- Experience conducting virtual sales presentations and webinars.
- Demonstrated success in new business development and account growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.
- The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the security, M2M, or telematics industries.
