Job Title: Test and Repairs Technician

Reporting to: Site Lead

Base Location: Cramlington

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Key Duties:

Test and repair of manufactured products to internal specification
Fault-finding, analysis, and diagnosis of non-working electronic devices down to component level
Investigate and report issues during testing procedures to confirm root cause and failure mode
Prepare sample test reporting detailing findings through testing procedures adhering to internal requirements
Propose design, development or implementation of new test procedures
Support the creation and development of test protocols, specifications and validation
Ensure testing processes comply with production requirements
Ensure quality and H&S standards are followed within all testing processes
Maintain, repair and calibrate test equipment
Lead training on test procedures with manufacturing operators
Debrief to our industrialization and Manufacturing teams on issues found during testing and participate in plan of action for product/component amendments/replacement
Ensure compliance of Quality, H&S, and housekeeping practices in the workplace

Overall Job Purpose: Job Title: Production Test & Repairs Technician Reporting to (Title): Site Lead Department/Business Unit: Production Base Location: Cramlington Support manufacturing processes with the evaluation and testing of a wide range of manufactured electrical goods (Warden Call, Nurse Call, At Home Alarms, Telecare, Telehealth and Door Access Control systems) to ensure compliance with safety, functionality, and reliability. With a specific focus on fault finding.
