Job Summary:
- The position has the single point of accountability to lead the Global General Ledger and Global Intercompany with a focus on process optimization, efficiency improvement, standardization of transactional processing, reconciliation and documentation.
Has overall accountability for maintaining a robust financial control environment, ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements.
- This person is expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of the general ledger and sub ledger processes, transactional and administrative activities. The position possesses an in-depth knowledge of above listed functions, their financial and general accounting related impacts. Understanding organizational resources, priorities, requirements and policies are also critical.
- Organization and communication skills are vital in this area and the incumbent must be capable of ensuring a proper follow-up of open issues and of dealing with tight deadlines. This person performs root cause analysis to support internal customers and to achieve required business results.
