Job Description:
The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a positive breakfast experience by preparing and maintaining the breakfast area and offering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock the breakfast buffet according to company standards and health code regulations.
- Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, and waffles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout breakfast service.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with any requests or questions.
- Ensure all food temperatures are maintained at safe levels.
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests depart.
- Wash dishes and utensils used during breakfast service.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of breakfast supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Shift:
Saturday and Sundays 6 AM Start Time; Opportunity for full-time hours in the house-keeping department
