The Commercial Ops & Strategy Director supports regional revenue growth by aligning business strategy with execution and translating strategic objectives into measurable outcomes. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership and regional process owners to drive revenue growth through strategic alignment.

• Strategic Alignment: The role is pivotal in bridging high-level business strategy with day-to-day execution, ensuring that commercial objectives are met through robust processes and data-driven insights.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Success in this role depends on effective collaboration with multiple functions—Groups, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain—highlighting the need for strong stakeholder management.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Strategic Partnership: Works with the VP and regional leadership team to define strategies for market penetration, channel partners, performance goals, and organizational design.Working with our Demand and Supply Planning team as well LSG/CDG groups to understand and coordinate planned future deliveries relative to orders on hand and revenue attainment goals.
• Go-to-Market Framework: Develops governance for channel partners, optimizes market coverage, and aligns incentives with business objectives following company wide Go-To-Market Framework.
• Policy Monitoring and Influencing: Monitoring and understanding the government policy environment for Market Access purpose, implementing market access operation rigor and improve efficiency.  Attending related industrial association for policy discussion and influencing
• Business Development: Working closely with Corp/Group BD to lead local business development efforts as key GCO representative including Made-In-China project, new licensing in/out deals, menu expansion and Contract Sales Organization activities
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Establishes business focused KPIs and dashboards to measure commercial strategy outcomes, supporting executive decisions with insights and scenario modeling.
• Innovation & Efficiency: Identifies and implements AI, new tools, automation, and workflow improvements across the commercial ecosystem.

What You Bring:

• Required : Bachelors in Science related field Masters.
• Preferred: PhDin Science related field and/or Masters Business Administration, Finance, Marketing
• Minimum 15+ years in Sales/Marketing/Business Development

• Minimum 10+ years in Team management
• Minimum 10+ years in Life Science and/or IVD industry
• High level of comfort with financial modeling and analytical/BI tools.
• Broad experience across the sales and analytics tech-stack including Salesforce.com, marketing automation; ServiceMax or similar.
• Strong senior executive engagement and influence skills  
• Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills. Advanced Microsoft office skills specifically advanced excel skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment. 
• Demonstrated ability to drive change across organizations.  Includes scoping, planning, execution, and communications. 
• People leadership, including setting and managing goals, and employee development.
