What You Will Do
As Area Vice President Area Sales, you will lead the Food & Beverage business across Germany and Switzerland. You will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, delivering profitable growth, and leading a team of sales and technical professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver sales growth and financial objectives across Germany and Switzerland.
- Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and their teams to achieve exceptional performance.
- Drive commercial excellence through strategic account management, value selling, and pricing discipline.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Technical Service teams to deliver customer value.
- Identify market opportunities and drive adoption of new products, technologies, and solutions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Food & Beverage Europe growth strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- years of commercial leadership experience in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience leading managers and high-performing sales organizations.
- Strong knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry or related sectors.
- Experience working in a matrix organization with P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth and customer retention.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English required; German language skills preferred.
- Ability to travel within Germany, Switzerland, and Europe as needed.
- Based in Germany or Switzerland.
