This role is intended for an experienced software engineer with strong cloud and backend development expertise who enjoys building reliable software systems that integrate with industrial equipment. The Senior Cloud & Software Engineer will implement, deploy, and sustain cloud-connected applications, backend services, software infrastructure, and shared technology platforms supporting NOV's Service Equipment product portfolio.
Working closely with engineering leadership and system architects, this individual will translate architectural direction into scalable, production-ready solutions while providing technical mentorship, promoting software engineering best practices, and taking ownership of the reliability, maintainability, and continuous improvement of the software platform. Senior Software Platform Engineer supporting the development and sustainment of NOV Service Equipment software platforms and cloud infrastructure, including LogMaster+, CRFlex, TorqueMaster, and next-generation connected equipment.
This role provides technical leadership in software implementation, cloud deployment, backend services, and platform reliability while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. The Service Equipment engineering group is responsible for the development and sustainment of NOV’s industry-leading make/break and testing equipment used in downhole tool assembly operations worldwide.
