Overview
Join our Aviation team as a Trainee Broker, where you'll develop a strong foundation in the brokerage field. This role offers the opportunity to apply a range of standard skills within a specific practice area, working on assignments that are routine to moderately complex. You'll play a key role in supporting the placement process and contributing to the success of our regional Aviation team.
How you'll make an impact
- Assist the Aviation regional team with the placement process, including creating slips, underwriting submissions, and policy documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with insurers and internal stakeholders to facilitate renewals, endorsements, claims, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare client-facing materials such as presentations, renewal reports, and insurance programme reviews.
- Maintain accurate records and support data management within broker systems and databases.
- Contribute to regional projects and handle ad hoc assignments as required by the Aviation team.
About you
- A minimum of one year of working experience, preferably in insurance broking. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- A bachelor's degree qualification is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in insurance brokerage, account management, and servicing.
- Highly organised, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively within a team or independently.
