Day (United States of America)Greet patients and determine nature of the visit; prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider

Compensation Pay Range:

$25.25 - $35.36

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice
Greet, assess and interview patients
Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs
Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint
Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider
Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
Maintain patient care areas
Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms
Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures
Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem
Maintains patient confidentiality
Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders
Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more

b - Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.

Schedule and Location vary weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays. Required - 2 weekend shifts per month.

Operation hours Monday - Friday 9a-7p (10-hour shift), Saturday - Sunday 9a-4p (7-hour shift)

ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Emergency Medical Services EMT Paramedic - Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) - Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), INSTRUCTOR- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
