Team Lead Respiratory Services - (Nights) FT

The Team Leader leads an assigned team of therapists cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual

respect while providing patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive

patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care, improving

service levels, reducing the length of hospitalization, and decreasing costs. Through collaboration and

with the manager’s leadership, the Team Leader leads the team in providing patients and their families

with patient focused care. The Team Leader participates in the overall planning, organization, direction

and evaluation of patient care operations and is key in operationalizing the health system’s mission,

values and goals. The Team Leader assists in guiding and coaching the work performance of respiratory

therapists in their designated areas, ensuring ongoing collaboration with other departments/areas that
