Senior Manager – Vehicle Sales
The Senior Manager – Vehicle Sales will lead the vehicle sales function, drive business growth and ensure the achievement of sales, revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction targets. The role involves leading the sales team, developing effective sales strategies, managing key customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective vehicle sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to deliver strong performance.
- Drive vehicle sales volumes, revenue, profitability and market growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, KPIs and overall sales performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Finance, Operations and After-Sales teams.
- Ensure the effective management of vehicle inventory and sales processes.
- Handle key customer negotiations and escalated customer matters.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and performance updates for management.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and compliance with company policies.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of eight years’ relevant sales experience, preferably within the automotive or vehicle industry.
- Proven experience in a senior sales management or leadership role.
- A strong track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
- A customer-focused, results-oriented and professional approach.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
