Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Sierra Valley Rehab Center – Porterville, CA
Pay Range: $17/hour-$18/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, All Shifts Available

Position Summary:
The CNA provides essential support to our nursing team by assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a critical role in maintaining dignity, respect, and quality of life for each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff
Assist with mobility, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
Maintain clean and safe resident environments
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Ensure proper documentation and follow care plans
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Qualifications:
Valid CNA certification in the state of California
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
Reliable, team-oriented, and dedicated to quality care
