Job Description
We're looking for a B2B Growth Marketing Lead to accelerate the growth of Wise Business across APAC.
This is a senior, hands-on role for an exceptional B2B growth marketer. You'll identify the markets, customer segments and opportunities with the greatest growth potential, then turn those choices into locally relevant campaigns that acquire valuable business customers.
You'll own the regional B2B growth strategy and bring it to life across both self-serve and sales-assisted acquisition. You'll move comfortably between market prioritisation, customer insight, campaign strategy, proposition development, detailed execution and performance optimisation.
You won't be starting with a large dedicated team or a finished regional playbook. You'll work through specialist teams across content, events, paid search and other channels, partner closely with Sales, and make the evidence-based case for additional regional investment when an opportunity requires it.
You'll be based in Singapore and work closely with our APAC Regional Marketing Lead and market teams. Singapore is your operating base, but you'll use evidence to determine where Wise Business has the strongest growth opportunities across APAC.
Your mission
Make APAC a major contributor to Wise Business growth by building a repeatable engine that identifies the region's best opportunities and turns them into locally relevant, commercially effective campaigns.
Help more micro and small businesses discover and choose Wise for their international money needs, while growing within our customer-value and payback requirements.
What you'll be doing
Own the B2B growth strategy for APAC, using customer, market, product and commercial evidence to prioritise the most attractive opportunities.
Develop and execute locally relevant, integrated campaigns that acquire valuable business customers across self-serve and sales-assisted journeys.
Translate customer problems into clear growth hypotheses, propositions, campaign briefs, channel plans and measurement approaches.
Work hands-on with specialists across content, events, paid search and other channels to take campaigns from idea to market without losing strategic quality or pace.
Partner closely with Product Marketing and Sales on the Go-To-Market Plan and our ideal customer profiles delivering crucial market feedback.
Connect campaign performance to new business profiles, customer quality, downstream value and payback - not just impressions, clicks or lead volume.
Build credible business cases for regional investment outside established marketing activity, defining the opportunity, expected return, resources required and how the activity will be tested.
Use performance and customer evidence to decide what to scale, improve, stop or redirect, creating a consistent pipeline of activity rather than isolated launches.
Build a strong operating rhythm with the APAC Regional Marketing Lead and regional stakeholders, combining local context with the wider Wise Business growth strategy.
Identify and propose issues or improvements to Wise Business from a regional product perspective to help strengthen the offering.
Qualifications
You have deep B2B growth marketing experience and can demonstrate meaningful commercial outcomes that you personally helped create.
You're an exceptional, hands-on growth marketer. You can set the strategy, write the brief, shape the proposition, work through funnel problems and stay close to execution and performance.
You have built growth across multiple markets and understand that APAC is not one homogeneous audience. You know how to adapt a strategy to different customer needs, channels and competitive conditions.
You can identify and prioritise valuable B2B audiences, uncover the customer problem that matters and turn that insight into a focused acquisition proposition.
You understand both self-serve and sales-assisted acquisition and know how Marketing and Sales can operate as one connected growth system.
You make commercially grounded decisions using acquisition cost, conversion, customer quality, payback and lifetime-value considerations.
You're comfortable defining success before launch, working with imperfect data and making clear scale, stop or change decisions from the evidence.
You can bring together specialist and cross-functional teams without formal authority, maintaining clarity, quality and momentum.
You're comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment and move quickly from uncertainty to a sensible test.
You're motivated by Wise's mission and the opportunity to help small businesses operate and grow internationally.
Nice to haves
Most of your career has been spent in B2B SaaS marketing.
Experience in B2B fintech, payments, financial services or a comparable technology platform with a multi-stage customer journey.
Direct experience growing a business in Singapore, Southeast Asia or other APAC markets.
Experience marketing to freelancers, micro-businesses, small businesses, agencies, consultancies or startups.
Experience with cross-border, multi-currency or international-expansion products.
Experience entering or scaling an early-stage regional market.
Familiarity with partner-, community- or event-led B2B acquisition alongside digital channels.
