Job Description
Based in USA, the successful candidate will be responsible in the following areas:
Responsibilities
- To meet / exceed revenue targets as set out by Ascott
- Drive direct sales through key segments allocated by VP, Global Sales but not limiting to:
- Corporate accounts and their appointed Relocation agencies and Travel Management Companies
- Identify potential industries to grow and develop business
- Build relationships with key decision makers to ensure that Ascott is a preferred choice for their hotel / extended stay programmes
- Co-drive with global and cluster sales teams to maximize potential of the accounts
- Participate in and represent the group at related tradeshows, overseas sales trips and networking events
- Regular business reviews with clusters and cross functional working groups to ensure alignment of sales strategies and processes
- Well versed in all sales related systems to have the ability to guide / train clusters
- Keeping up with industry trends and ensuring relevance in our core segments
- Sales related projects as assigned by VP, Global Sales
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor degree or above, fluent in English
- 5 years hotel / extended stay market experience in regional level preferred
- Profound experience in corporate accounts or global sales background will be a plus
- Self-driven, target-oriented, team spirit and can work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office system and sales related software and tools
