As we continue to invest in the future of marketing, we are looking for an experienced leader to head our Digital Growth, AI & Marketing Technology capability.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of digital marketing, AI and marketing technology, partnering with senior business and marketing leaders to unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation and customer engagement. The successful candidate will build on an established foundation, bringing fresh perspectives, deep expertise and strong leadership to further advance our digital capabilities and develop the next generation of marketing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Growth Strategy

• Define and lead the digital growth strategy to support business priorities across Global Wholesale Banking.

• Identify new opportunities to strengthen customer acquisition, engagement and digital experiences.

• Guide the evolution of customer journeys across digital touchpoints.

• Partner business leaders to deliver digital initiatives that create measurable commercial outcomes.

AI & Marketing Innovation

• Shape the strategic direction for AI-enabled marketing across the organisation.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance customer engagement, content development, marketing productivity and decision-making.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the organisation at the forefront of marketing innovation.

• Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning and innovation.

Marketing Technology

• Guide the evolution of the Bank’s marketing technology ecosystem.

• Strengthen marketing automation and digital marketing capabilities to support scalable and personalised customer engagement.

• Partner closely with Technology and Data teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions.

• Champion best practices in marketing operations and digital enablement.

Data, Insights & Performance

• Advance the organisation’s data-driven marketing capabilities.

• Establish meaningful measurement frameworks and performance dashboards.

• Translate customer and campaign insights into strategic recommendations.

• Drive continuous optimisation through analytics, experimentation and customer insights.

Leadership & Capability Development

• Provide strategic leadership for Digital Growth, AI & Marketing Technology across Global Wholesale Banking Marketing.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Business, Technology and Data functions.

• Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to enterprise-wide digital initiatives.

• Establish best practices and governance that strengthen marketing capability across the organisation.

We’re seeking an experienced marketing leader with a passion for digital innovation, commercial growth and building high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 12–15 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, Marketing Technology, Digital Transformation or related disciplines.
• Proven success developing digital strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Experience in Banking and other FIs will be an advantage
• Deep understanding of AI, CRM, marketing automation, customer experience, analytics and digital performance.
• Experience leading digital transformation or capability-building initiatives within large or complex organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate digital opportunities into business value.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior business leaders.
• A collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing teams and building organisational capability.
• A hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution. The successful candidate should be comfortable rolling up their sleeves, experimenting with new technologies, solving complex problems and leading by example not simply directing from the sidelines.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Chinese media would be an advantage to deal with North Asia customers
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking or Enterprise B2B marketing will be an advantage
