Job Description

Job Summary**
Lead and manage a high-performing team within United Overseas Bank Ltd, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities**

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve departmental targets and contribute to the bank's overall objectives.
Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal departments and external partners, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant banking laws and regulations.
Prepare and present reports on team performance, progress, and challenges to senior management.
Drive innovation and process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes for team members.

Job Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions.
Proficiency in financial analysis, project management, and risk management principles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong ethical compass and commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity.
