- ESH Specialist is responsible for supporting environmental, safety, and health programs to help ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and promote a safe and healthy workplace. This role partners with cross-functional teams to implement ESH programs, conduct assessments, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, safety, and health programs
- Help ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and company requirements
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations
- Support incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up
- Partner with site leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams to address ESH risks and improve performance
- Assist with emergency preparedness activities, training, and response planning
- Monitor ESH metrics, track action items, and help prepare reports or presentations for leadership review
- Support safety reviews for new processes, equipment, installations, or operational changes
- Promote a strong safety culture through communication, coaching, and day-to-day partnership with the organization
