The Opportunity

ArcelorMittal WireSolutions is looking for a proactive, organised, and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team in Sheffield.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career in marketing, communications, and commercial support within an international manufacturing business. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications, Market Intelligence and Commercial Excellence Manager, you will gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, events, market intelligence, and business communications.

You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing initiatives, improving departmental efficiency, and contributing to projects that support business growth, customer engagement, and commercial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

Assist in creating and editing marketing content for websites, brochures, presentations, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Support the planning and coordination of marketing campaigns and customer communications.
Maintain and organise marketing materials, digital assets, and image libraries.
Assist with website content updates and content management activities.
Support the development of internal communications and business updates.
Help ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.

Events & Exhibitions

Support the planning, preparation, and execution of exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.
Coordinate promotional materials, literature, and event merchandise.
Liaise with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support successful event delivery.
Assist with post-event reporting, evaluations, and follow-up activities.

Market Intelligence & Commercial Support

Support the collection, organisation, and maintenance of market intelligence data.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and market insights for internal stakeholders.
Support data gathering and administrative activities related to commercial excellence initiatives.

Administration & Team Support

Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team.
Maintain accurate files, databases, and shared resources.
Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with ad-hoc activities as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic graphic design capabilities and familiarity with design tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Experience creating content for websites, social media, newsletters, or other marketing materials.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and content management systems (CMS).
Understanding of marketing principles and digital communications.
Experience supporting events, exhibitions, or corporate activities.
