Why this role matters:
As ICEYE continues its rapid global expansion, our Finance organization is scaling to match the pace and ambition of the Group. We are now seeking a Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team. Based in Espoo, and reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you will be a key contributor to ICEYE's tax function, working at the heart of a fast-moving, international environment where accurate and well-managed tax management is a critical part of the wider Finance organization.
You will bring practical expertise in indirect taxation, built for example in a consulting environment or an in-house tax function, and combine it with the accuracy that indirect tax work demands.
Alongside your indirect tax responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to build competence in corporate income tax and transfer pricing as ICEYE's international footprint and tax function continues to grow

Your day-to-day responsibilities
Advise and support in indirect tax questions, including the indirect tax treatment of transactions, contracts, and new business models.
Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on ICEYE's business and systems.
Support in identifying and documenting cross-border transaction flows to ensure they are correctly characterized for both indirect tax and transfer pricing purposes, recognizing the interplay between the two.
Support in indirect tax audits and inquiries and manage day-to-day relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
Identify potential for and apply automation tools to scale VAT compliance, controlling and monitoring as the business grows.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that strengthen controls and mitigate tax risk before it materialises.
Support the Global Head of Tax on corporate income tax matters with room to grow into a
broader role over time.
Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and intercompany arrangements as ICEYE's group structure evolves.
Support the tax aspects of new market entries, corporate structuring, and other cross-functional projects as needed.
Collaborate closely with different Finance teams as well as business to ensure accurate tax treatment and timely information flow.
What we’re looking for:
Master’s degree in tax, law, accounting, or a related field.
You have at least 5 years of relevant tax experience, gained in a consulting firm, law firm, tax authority, or an in-house tax function.
Strong, hands-on expertise in indirect taxation; experience with cross-border or multi jurisdictional matters is an advantage.
Genuine interest in and willingness to expand your expertise into corporate income tax and transfer pricing.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

colleagues.
