What is the job?

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and commercially minded Senior Sales Manager – Jakarta Sales Office to join our Sales & Marketing team.

Based in Jakarta, this role will be responsible for developing and managing the hotel's business across Jakarta and surrounding areas with a strong focus on achieving the assigned revenue and room-night targets.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Sales Manager will develop strategic relationships with key corporate accounts, MICE partners, travel agents, event organizers, wholesalers, and other business generators across Jakarta and surrounding areas to drive room revenue, meetings and events, and other hotel revenue opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Jakarta and surrounding areas market, an established network of corporate and business contacts, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of delivering commercial results in the hospitality industry.

Your day-to-day

• Take ownership of the Jakarta and surrounding areas market sales target, including room revenue, room nights, and other assigned revenue objectives. 
• Develop and execute a strategic Jakarta & Surrounding Areas Sales Plan aligned with the hotel's annual commercial strategy and business objectives. 
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Jakarta & Surrounding Areas Sales Plan to increase hotel revenue and market share. 
• Drive proactive sales activities through sales calls, client meetings, presentations, networking events, and business appointments across the assigned territory.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, production reports, account updates, and market feedback for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, MICE organizers, travel management companies, travel agents, wholesalers, event organizers, and other business partners in Jakarta. 
• Identify key decision-makers and business generators within target accounts and establish long-term commercial relationships. 
• Manage and grow existing key accounts while continuously prospecting for new business opportunities. 
• Conduct regular account reviews and develop account plans for high-potential clients. 
• Negotiate business opportunities, rates, contracts, and commercial agreements in line with the hotel's revenue strategy and approval guidelines.

• Represent Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach in Jakarta through sales calls, trade shows, sales missions, networking events, client functions, and industry activities.

   

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
• Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably with experience managing the Jakarta market or a Jakarta Sales Office. 
• Previous experience in a Senior Sales Manager or equivalent sales leadership position in a 5-star, luxury, lifestyle, or international hotel environment is preferred. 
• Strong understanding of the Jakarta corporate, MICE, travel trade, and leisure market. 
• Established network of corporate accounts, MICE organizers, travel agents, travel management companies, wholesalers, and other key business partners in Jakarta. 
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets. 
• Strong experience in business development, account management, sales planning, forecasting, and client negotiation. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities. 

• Jakarta-based and willing to travel to Bali and other locations as required.
