💼 Position Overview:
The Imaging Assistant observes and assists in various capacitiesto Orlando Health Imaging areas.
Location:1285 N. Orange Ave. Winter Park, FL 32789
Status: POOL - Per Diem
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- None
- BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire
What you will do
- Transports bed, stretcher, and wheelchair patients in a safe, professional manner, following HIPPA and handoff compliance.
- Uses double identifiers on every patient per The Joint Commission regulations for patient safety.
- Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies.
- Picks up and delivers requisitions, specimens, and other materials within the facility.
- Assists with stocking and cleaning of rooms, puts away supplies correctly.
- Reports faulty equipment, hazardous conditions and/or incidents to supervisor for follow up.
- Returns equipment to designated storage area and maintains transport equipment. Cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects equipment as needed.
- Maintains O2/suction supplies as required per facility.
