Sales Coordinator (Fixed-term, 2 years)
We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Sales Coordinator to join our Customer Service team in Budapest. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating customer orders, supporting day-to-day customer service activities, and ensuring smooth collaboration between customers and internal stakeholders.
This is a fixed-term position for approximately 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Management
- Manage customer orders from order entry through to delivery
- Ensure timely order confirmations and accurate order processing
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status and delivery information
- Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimization
- Escalate and support the resolution of customer complaints in cooperation with the Quality team
- Proactively communicate potential delivery issues and ensure appropriate internal escalation
- Support Key Account Managers in servicing customer accounts and achieving business objectives
- Manage customer priorities and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare regular reports and support Supply Chain performance targets
Customer Data & Asset Management
- Maintain and review customer master data within ERP systems
- Manage customer-owned assets, including pallet balances and production tools
- Ensure data accuracy and timely system updates
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Support compliance with company policies, management systems, and FSC requirements
- Participate in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Follow quality, environmental, health & safety, food safety, and sustainability requirements
Your Profile
- Higher education degree or relevant professional qualification
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Proactive and solution-focused attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
- Native-level Hungarian language skills
Advantage
- Experience in customer service, sales support, order management, logistics, supply chain, or a similar coordination role
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
