• The Performance & Operability (P&O) Methods group within the Systems Engineering organization is seeking a Lead Engineer who will lead key Performance and Operability Design Systems (PODS) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Digital Transformation software efforts. As a Lead Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and software solutions within the System Engineering department. You will work within cross-functional global teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, software, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

This position requires the individual to be an expert in software design and well versed in Performance and Operability Methods tools, processes, and methods. The engineer will lead large teams on multiple software projects which will require them to be the primary point of contact for a wide range of support needs. The Lead Engineer will champion technical innovation and process improvements. The individual will mentor and develop less-experienced engineers. The Engineer will be responsible for leading major modernization efforts while adhering to the latest software and modeling standards.
