Reporting to the Produce Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Demonstrating Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
- Working co-operatively with team members who deliver excellent service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here”
- Maintaining our produce department to ensure product freshness
- Handling and preparing produce products in accordance with company quality standards and food safety protocols
- Stocking and facing shelves, merchandising and building in-store displays
- Keeping produce cooler and sales floor organized and clean
- Assist with the Value Added Program
- General housekeeping duties
What you bring:
- Able to work daytime shifts in addition to evenings, weekends and stat holidays
- Experience in retail in a similar position
- Basic computer skills and technical knowledge
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands
- A commitment to quality and an eye for detail

Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a PART-TIME PRODUCE CLERK! The Food Store is open 7 days a week. This position requires occasional evening availability (until 8:00 pm), as well as weekends and holidays on a rotational basis, with varying shifts from early morning to afternoon. We are seeking a friendly and experienced Produce Clerk to ensure that the Produce Department of our Food Store is well-maintained and running efficiently. You will act as the first point of contact with customers and help them with information and support in finding and buying the freshest fruits and vegetables.
