We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud & Security Solutions Leader to join our Solutions business in the Netherlands. In this role, you will bring Insight's Microsoft Cloud and Security capabilities to life for our clients, helping them understand how Azure, Microsoft 365, modern security platforms and AI technologies such as Copilot can create measurable business value while keeping their environments secure and well-governed.

You will work at the intersection of business strategy, technology and sales, shaping opportunities from early client conversations through solution development and implementation. You will help clients define their Cloud and Security strategies, identify high-value use cases, and translate business and risk challenges into practical and scalable solutions.

This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales: it is critical to Insight's growth in the region. You will not only develop and drive client opportunities but also work closely with our wider Insight Cloud, Security and AI teams to shape new propositions, processes, sales motions and repeatable approaches that can accelerate Cloud & Security opportunities across the organisation.

What to expect

Reporting to the Director of Solutions, you will lead and support the solution sales process for Cloud & Security opportunities, from initial ideation and discovery through qualification, solution design and implementation.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping senior business and technology stakeholders navigate a rapidly evolving Microsoft Cloud and Security landscape and turn emerging technologies into tangible, secure business outcomes.

You will also represent Insight as a Cloud & Security thought leader, contributing to client events, executive briefings, workshops, webinars, industry events and public speaking engagements.

To deliver the best outcomes for our clients, you will:

Develop a deep understanding of the client's business strategy, cloud landscape, security posture, technology roadmap, challenges and opportunities, identifying where Microsoft Cloud and Security can deliver meaningful business value.
Lead strategic conversations around Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI, and security platforms including Purview, Defender, Sentinel and Entra, helping clients move from fragmented or reactive practices toward secure, governed and scalable cloud adoption.
Identify, shape and qualify Cloud & Security opportunities and translate business requirements into compelling solution concepts and engagements.
Lead cross-functional teams to design and propose solutions that combine Insight capabilities, Microsoft technologies, partner platforms and modern security architectures.
Work closely with technical specialists, architects, consultants, sales teams and delivery organisations to develop commercially and technically viable solutions.
Collaborate closely with the Insight Cloud, Security and AI teams to develop new offerings, sales motions, processes and approaches that help Insight identify, qualify and accelerate Cloud & Security opportunities.
Support the creation of repeatable Cloud & Security propositions, workshops, assessments, accelerators and use cases that can be scaled across clients and markets.
Build strong relationships with Microsoft and strategic security technology partners, and help translate new capabilities and innovation into relevant client propositions.
Act as a visible Cloud & Security ambassador and thought leader for Insight, presenting at client events, executive briefings, webinars, conferences and other public speaking engagements.
Collaborate with leadership, sales teams, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment around Cloud & Security strategy, pipeline development and go-to-market activities.

What success looks like

You are a key contributor to the growth of Insight's Cloud & Security business, working towards team-based objectives rather than purely individual targets – developing and progressing opportunities that generate profitable services revenue.
You proactively identify new Cloud & Security opportunities within existing and new accounts and help clients progress from initial ideas and experimentation to funded engagements.
You build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a trusted advisor for conversations around Cloud, Security, AI and digital transformation.
You create momentum around new and emerging Microsoft technologies by connecting client challenges with practical use cases, solutions and Insight capabilities.
You work closely with the Insight Cloud, Security and AI teams and wider Solutions organisation to develop new propositions, improve processes and create scalable approaches for identifying and converting opportunities.
You actively contribute to Insight's market presence through public speaking, client events, workshops and thought leadership.
You maintain a healthy and qualified pipeline with accurate forecasts, milestones and opportunity plans.
You collaborate effectively across Insight and know when to bring in the right architects, consultants, delivery specialists, partners and subject matter experts.
You master the Land, Adopt, Expand and Renew model to create long-term client relationships and drive year-on-year growth.
You qualify opportunities using appropriate commercial, technical and delivery risk models to ensure that Insight pursues the right opportunities.
You contribute to team performance measures spanning solution outcomes, customer engagements, cloud adoption, training and business growth in strategic areas.

Does this sound like you?

A strategic and commercially minded individual with a strong passion for Microsoft Cloud, Security and AI technologies and their ability to transform organisations.
Experienced in working with clients to identify business and security challenges, develop use cases and translate them into technology solutions and services engagements.
Comfortable leading conversations with senior business and technology stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs and other executive decision-makers.
A confident and proactive communicator and influencer in both Dutch and English, able to communicate complex Cloud and Security concepts in a clear, relevant and business-focused way.
Comfortable presenting to larger audiences and interested in representing Insight through public speaking, client events, workshops and industry engagements.
Able to connect business challenges with modern Cloud and Security capabilities across areas such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Purview, Defender, Sentinel and Entra.
Self-driven, with the ability to work independently, take initiative and manage a book of opportunities with minimal oversight.
Deep, hands-on Azure expertise is essential – this is a capability that cannot be learned quickly and is considered critical for the role.
A background from Microsoft or a large consulting organisation is strongly preferred, combining technical depth with commercial awareness.
Commercially aware, with experience shaping opportunities, influencing stakeholders and progressing complex deals involving multiple teams.
Highly collaborative and comfortable working across sales, technical and delivery organisations as well as with strategic partners.
Curious and forward-looking, with a strong desire to stay ahead of developments in Microsoft Cloud, Security and AI and translate innovation into practical opportunities for our clients.
Passionate about helping shape how Insight takes Cloud & Security solutions to market, not simply selling existing offerings but contributing to the development of new propositions, processes and ways of working.
