Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill an ASPHALT PLANT UTILITY/ GROUND TECHNICIAN position for our Hillsboro Asphalt Plant, located in Hillsboro, TN. The successful candidate for this role will be self-motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Job Details:
- Hillsboro Asphalt Plant – Rogers Group Inc – Hillsboro, TN
- Full Time
- Wages starting at $21.00/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary duties will include cleaning truck beds, and making sure they tarp and strap covers across loaded beds when hauling OGFC.
- Feed fiber into fiber machine – including operating a fork lift to unload fiber from trailer.
- General support and clean-up around the asphalt plant, if needed, general maintenance of plant and equipment, and utilizing heavy equipment in performing jobs and moving materials around the plant, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Focus on Safety Excellence.
- Must work well with others.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include Plant Clean-up, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment and Machinery.
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions.
- Willing to work weekends and long hours when needed.
- Willing to be flexible when called upon to perform other assignments or to assist in other areas at the discretion of management.
