Claims Support Officer
We’re looking for a Claims Operations Support Officer to join our Personal Injury Claims Operations team in Sydney. In this role, you’ll support customers, claims teams and business partners through a mix of customer service, claims administration and operational support activities within a fast-paced Contact Centre environment.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity based in Sydney. Salary $82,800.
What you’ll do
Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries across a range of Personal Injury insurance schemes, delivering a positive and supportive customer experience.
Manage inbound calls and provide accurate information in line with business procedures and regulatory requirements.
Support Claims teams through administrative and operational tasks including claim reviews, claim reopen requests, payment updates and system validation activities.
Investigate and follow up information required to support claims processing and customer outcomes.
Manage customer feedback and escalate complex matters where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the wider team during busy periods.
What you’ll bring
Previous experience in customer service, administration, contact centre or operations environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and handle customer conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Experience within insurance, claims or financial services will be highly regarded.
