JOB DESCRIPTION: -
- Preparation of General Arrangement Drawing, detailed reinforced concrete/PSC/steel drawings, culvert sheets, retaining/wing wall details etc.
- Understand design and detailing standards followed by Stantec and implement them at work
- Maintain competitiveness by ensuring drawings are produced within budget and schedule
- Identify and document design challenges and collaborate with the wider team to ensure the challenges are documented
- Understand design development
- Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts
PREFFERED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: -
- Data / Document management system experience
- Knowledge of highway and rail bridges
- Ability to work alone and take initiative
- Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.
- Completing assigned tasks on agreed time, quality, and budget
- Ability to customize and automation of programs and menus to increase drawing productivity
- Responsible for checking own work and ensuring compliance with standards set in the project and adhering to company's quality procedures
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery.
