Head of Product
Eli Health · Montréal
About us
Eli Health is making continuous hormone monitoring possible so users can support their daily and long-term health. No more waiting days to track key biomarkers—get results you can use within minutes. Eli’s flagship product, Hormometer®, is the first instant hormone monitoring platform to deliver results from saliva to mobile app—anytime, anywhere.
Developed over six years of R&D, over 2,000 iterations, and backed by a dozen patent-pending innovations, Eli’s award-winning platform turns hormones into measurable signals you can track and improve. Just as the thermometer and glucometer have transformed health for millions, Eli’s platform is poised to be the next major evolution in tracking changes in stress, endurance, sleep, and more. Our ambition is to make continuous hormone monitoring as ubiquitous as smartwatches, creating a new category that transforms how people understand and support their health.
About the role
Eli is looking for a Head of Product with the vision, ability to originate transformative product ideas, and drive to build a category-defining consumer experience. Reporting to Eli’s co-founder/CEO, you will own product across the company, with the expectation of taking full ownership of product vision and execution within your first three months. Over the next 12–18 months, you’ll deepen engagement and retention as we scale, and lead an ambitious, innovative roadmap across AI capabilities, current and future hormones, and B2B expansion.
This role can be remote. We strongly prefer candidates who can visit our Montreal office frequently for in-person deep dives with product, design, engineering, and scientific affairs. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
Set the vision and invent what comes next. Make continuous hormone monitoring compelling to a mainstream audience, with innovations beyond incremental improvements. Originate major product ideas by connecting scientific and technological possibilities with unmet customer needs. Develop product opportunities that can change Eli’s trajectory, build conviction through intuition and evidence, and lead the team to make them a reality.
Build lasting value. Own product discovery, combining customer research, product data, and scientific understanding to create experiences people love, use repeatedly, and keep paying for. Define success, test assumptions, and use cohort data to grow engagement, retention, and subscription revenue as we scale.
Own product and rally the team. Bring product, design, engineering, and scientific affairs together around an ambitious direction. Make hard trade-offs and drive delivery without founders supplying direction, coordination, or momentum. Own product requirements, scope decisions, release readiness, and launch coordination with marketing.
Turn science into a compelling experience. Partner with scientific and medical experts to make hormone data understandable and useful, grounded in evidence.
Deliver today and build for what’s next. Pair meaningful near-term improvements with a bold roadmap across AI capabilities, current and future hormones, and B2B expansion.
This description is not exhaustive. We are looking for someone who can own and grow the product function independently.
About you
You’ve owned the whole product. You’ve independently led a consumer subscription product from vision through delivery, rallying a multidisciplinary team and driving daily momentum.
You have exceptional product vision and a record of invention. You’ve invented and shipped products people loved, starting from an insight you personally originated. You can explain what you saw, how you developed it with your team, and what happened when it reached customers. You can show the bold ideas, thoughtful details, and hard choices that made the experience compelling. You bring original product judgment and think from first principles, questioning established assumptions and developing an independent view of what is possible.
You’ve scaled beyond early adopters. You personally drove the product changes that grew an initial audience of thousands of users into a substantially larger customer base, operating hands-on in a small team.
You’ve built recurring value that improved paid retention. You can connect customer insight to what you shipped and demonstrate sustained results across cohorts.
You can learn the science and own the vision. Ideally, you’ve translated scientific or biological concepts into a consumer health product. You work closely with experts while taking responsibility for product direction and respecting scientific realities.
You bring relevant experience across products or markets. Ideally, you’ve worked on products such as wearables, hardware-software technologies, or health and wellness apps with a strong behavioural component.
If you don't exactly match the description but still believe you are the right person to join the team, please reach out. We value mindset and character.
