Customer Care Advocate III

Scope of the role
The Customer Care Advocate will support the internal sales/applications and customer service team in providing order status updates, quotations and processing customer orders to customers all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive enquiries from customers via email or telephone
- Process orders received by completing paperwork and passing it to the Operations Department
· Contract review and entry of orders for non-standard products and preparing engineering files for our engineering department.
· Becoming familiar with all the products offered
- Work cross-functionally to determine accurate production costs.
- Act as the voice of customer (VOC) within the plant – communicating order priorities to team members as directed by line management
- Operate as customer care liaison within the manufacturing plant as required – following up on order progressing and status update requests and communicating quickly to internal and external customers
- To assist the Customer Care Manager as necessary
- Assist in achieving the company’s enquiry to quotation and order intake targets.
- Determining prices and send quotations back to the customer using standard price lists
- Checking gross margins are in line with acceptable levels
- Refer to any enquiries outside own levels of approval to the Customer Service Team Leader
- Providing exceptional customer service to exceed customers' expectations.
- Maintaining good relationships and communication with the customers to ensure they are updated throughout the order process.
- Being proactive in your approach to complicated or urgent orders.
- Liaising with the Ops team to provide customer delivery updates as requested.
- General administration duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree in technical or industrial field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in the field of customer service, technical support within a manufacturing and sales environment
- Fluent communication in English
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Usage experience with systems CRM, SAP and Oracle
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
- Provide customers with a superior service in every respect, from making first contact and understanding their needs to providing quotations and information quickly
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible and hardworking

- A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
