Digital Growth and E-Commerce Manager

We are seeking an experienced digital growth and e-commerce leader with a strong track record in retail, consumer e-commerce, marketplaces, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, technology or another digitally mature B2C environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience across e-commerce, digital growth, performance marketing, CRM or digital commercial functions within a consumer led business.
- Demonstrated ownership of online revenue and digital commercial performance, rather than marketing activity alone.
- Experience managing a digital customer journey from acquisition through conversion, retention and reactivation.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce trading, including traffic generation, conversion rate, average transaction value, customer acquisition cost and repeat purchase.
- Proven experience developing and optimising paid acquisition across search, social, display and other performance channels.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, GEO and AEO, driving organic customer acquisition and digital discoverability.
- Experience developing customer segmentation, CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated experience using experimentation, A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimisation to improve commercial performance.
- Strong analytical capability with experience translating customer, channel and transaction data into actionable growth strategies.
- Experience managing digital agencies, technology partners and meaningful performance marketing budgets.
- Proven ability to identify underperforming parts of a digital funnel, diagnose the underlying issue and implement measurable improvements.
Commercial Mindset
The successful candidate will think of digital as a revenue generating mechanism, not purely as a channel of communication.
They should be comfortable managing and being accountable for metrics such as:
- Online revenue growth
- Conversion rate
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
- Return on advertising spend (ROAS)
- Average transaction/order value
- Customer lifetime value (CLV)
- Repeat purchase / retention
- Funnel abandonment
- CRM conversion and attributed revenue
- Organic acquisition
- Incremental revenue generated from digital investment
We are interested in candidates who can bring digital commerce practices, capabilities and ways of working from industries where customer acquisition, conversion and retention are core commercial disciplines. The successful candidate will be expected to apply established digital commerce principles to a hospitality environment encompassing Rooms, Restaurants & Bars, Weddings, Meetings & Events and other hotel experiences.
