Your Opportunity
As a Mechanical Intern (Co-Op) with our multi-discipline Nashville, TN office, you will work with close guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the direction of a senior engineer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include design computer-aided design (CAD), calculations, and field work. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken mechanical engineering design type courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to develop industry experience with an opportunity for a full-time position upon graduation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Participation in mechanical engineering and design of process piping, pumps, and equipment general arrangements including calculations and layouts.
- Development of mechanical specifications and data sheets
- Production of BIM drawings using Revit or Plant 3D
- Performs field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed and accompanied by senior engineer.
- Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
