What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Client Focus path within BCG's Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) Practice Area, you will deliver on the following responsibilities in-alignment with the client and commercial priorities for the Topic business:

• Deliver value to clients via individual functional expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.)
• You will contribute on cases (client projects) and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help create strong impact for the client.
• While on these client staffing assignments/ projects you are expected to understand client requirements, business implications and provide in-depth expertise across brand & marketing topics, channel-level understanding to deliver on comprehensive analysis and strategic priorities of the client project.
• You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials.
• Additionally, as a Senior Analyst in BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing AI-led assets, agents, Claude Skills as intellectual property for the business. You will further assist in onboarding and training colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
• Travel requirements to support client projects, proposals, conversation starters will be minimum 60-80% and may vary across the year
• Liaises with case team leadership and other specialized teams (e.g. BCG X) to bring out the optimal solutions to ensure that requests/projects are delivered in an optimal manner
• Leverage his/her expertise to support project proposals (e.g. outside-in observations, competitive benchmarking, maturity assessment etc) as well as client casework.
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining best-in-class institutional content and knowledge that supports and advances the Digital Marketing topic (e.g. case vignettes, credentials, toolkit evaluations, vendor management, etc).

What You'll Bring

• Master’s Degree preferred, with demonstrated high academic achievement
• 4-6 years of industry or consulting professional work experience
• Previous experience at a consulting firm, eCommerce, marketing agency firm strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills required and hands-on experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads
• Understanding of DSP/DMP platforms (Google DoubleClick, DV360 etc.), Mar-Tech, AdTech Platforms, Microsoft Access, and/or Alteryx is a plus
• Prior experience in a start-up environment is desirable
• Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive out-of-the-box and critical thinker
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities

• Delivers actionable research and insights tailored to the client project’s needs; works with qualitative and quantitative data, conducts research and provides synthesized results from sources including commercial data, public and open source, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions
• Assessing client’s digital marketing strategy, channel level maturity, run in-depth diagnostics and campaign management capabilities.
• Understand the various components and drivers of growth across various stages of the customer journey including – acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Analyze trends (such as traffic, conversion, user engagement, and repeat behavior) and create actionable programs leading to user growth & retention.
• Analyze user journeys to provide actionable insights and recommendations followed by quick experimentation via A|B testing routes on traffic/funnel enhancement to derive immediate impact on KPIs
• Working closely with client teams and agencies to understand strategic objectives and design tests/optimize campaigns to improve digital marketing performance and meet the clients' goals
• Interfacing with BCG case and client teams and reporting on results, in a credible and confident way
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtually, proficient in agile ways of working
• Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things, and able to propose innovative ideas
