In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to manage accounts, process orders, provide tailored quotes, and close deals to help drive sales growth. Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

What You'll Do

Partner with District Managers to maintain existing customer accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely support and addressing inquiries.
Prepare and deliver pricing quotations for non-contract business within established response times.
Follow up on quotations to secure business and gather feedback on lost opportunities.
Monitor inventory levels and availability to provide accurate pricing and lead times.
Enter customer orders accurately and ensure proper processing and setup.
Track orders through production and shipment, coordinating with plant and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor inventory commitments for contract customers and communicate concerns proactively.
Conduct outbound calls to inactive and prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with District Managers regarding customer activity and territory updates.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
Education: High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience.
Experience in the metal industry such as manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $21.63/Hr. - USD $26.44/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
