Software Engineers will have experience in developing solutions to complex problems and will be expected to provide expertise in development and testing best practices and methodologies. You will work on a collaborative agile development team, and in addition to your strong individual contributions, you will provide advice and assistance to more junior team members, as needed, to help in continually improving the productivity and quality of the team.

Role tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement new software programs.

• Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

• Make sound technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.

• Apply best practices and ensure their effective implementation.

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and enhance availability.

• Resolve complex technical design issues.

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into design documentation.

• Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as requested.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with management and technical support teams.

• Collaborate with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing.

• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while exercising sound judgment.

• Manage multiple tasks and priorities without compromising efficiency or composure.

• Work independently when required.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET 4, React, Node.js, MVC 4, Entity Framework, LINQ, nUnit/xUnit, Moq, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS (Bootstrap).
• Understanding of authentication and identity protocols, including OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with DevOps processes and practices such as Scrum, Git Flow, CI/CD, and deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Server development, including relational database design, T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of cloud-based Microsoft development technologies, including Azure Web Apps and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on experience implementing REST APIs, including API creation, maintenance, and versioning.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, object-oriented programming, database design, and application development.
• Experience applying design patterns such as MVC, Factory Pattern, dependency injection, and unit testing.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Preferred

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with Azure API Management.
• Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience working with Azure Search or ElasticSearch.
• Experience working with Azure Service Bus or similar message queue brokers.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Application Insights or similar event logging technologies.
• Experience working with in-memory caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, or similar solutions.
