Trade Documentation & Data Entry Clerk (Hybrid WFH)

DATAMARK is seeking detail-oriented Customs Clerks to support back-office operations related to customs processing activities. This role is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and processing shipment documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of work in alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid, work from home, role with the potential to transition into a permanent work from home position. This position is located in El Paso, TX. Training and onboarding will take place completely on-site. Upon successful completion of training, employees can earn the opportunity to work entirely from home by consistently meeting performance metrics, KPIs, and company attendance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify trade documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter shipment, customs, and invoice data into internal systems.
- Apply product and tariff classification codes using established guidelines
- Maintain organized digital records of trade and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve documentation discrepancies promptly.
- Follow detailed procedures while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Support customs processing through accurate document review and coding
- Ensure timely processing of import and export paperwork.
Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High typing accuracy.
- 45 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- 6000 KPH data entry speed with 98% accuracy
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience processing large volumes of trade data.
- Administrative, clerical, data entry, shipping, logistics, or documentation experience
- Experience reviewing customs and shipping documents and identifying documentation discrepancies.
- Experience handling confidential records with accuracy and discretion.
- Experience using shipment and customs systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Familiarity with import and export paperwork and compliance processes.
