We are looking for an IS Cloud Business Analyst to join our Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Group Business & Manufacturing IS department.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between Business Application Owners, IS teams, Cloud Architects and technical partners, helping translate business needs into practical and scalable IT solutions.

You will analyse business requirements, assess existing solutions and cloud capabilities, contribute to solution design and documentation, and support the evolution of Valeo’s Group IS landscape. You will work closely with Cloud and Enterprise Architects, Cybersecurity, Product Owners, local IS teams and external partners to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with Valeo's standards and business objectives.

YOUR CHALLENGES? 

Business Analysis & Solution Definition

• Partner with Business Application Owners and stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges and future requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for IS teams and external partners.
• Analyse existing applications and processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation and cloud adoption.
• Support the definition and evaluation of solution options, considering business needs, technical feasibility, cost and scalability.
• Prepare business and solution documentation, process flows and high-level solution concepts.

Cloud & Solution Support

• Develop a good understanding of Valeo's cloud environment and contribute to the identification of suitable cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with Cloud and Enterprise Architects to develop and document solution concepts and ensure alignment with existing architecture standards.
• Support the assessment of cloud services, PaaS and SaaS solutions and participate in technology evaluations and Proofs of Concept.
• Help assess integration requirements between cloud applications, SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Contribute to the maintenance of application and solution documentation and architecture cartography for your scope.

Stakeholder & Project Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between Business Application Owners, Product Owners, IS teams, Architects, Cybersecurity and external technology partners.
• Support the transition of solutions from conceptual design through implementation.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues and ensure that agreed solutions meet business expectations.
• Participate in IS projects and initiatives across Valeo's international organisation.
• Support prioritisation and consolidation of business and IS demands within your scope.

Governance, Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure that proposed solutions follow established Valeo IS, security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and architecture teams to incorporate security and compliance requirements into solution designs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, application landscapes and ways of working.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the Architecture CoE.
• Support the creation of reusable standards, templates and best practices for business and solution analysis.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT business analysis, solution analysis, IT consulting, application management or a similar role.
• Experience working at the intersection of business and IT, translating business requirements into IT solutions.
• Good understanding of cloud computing concepts and modern IT architectures; practical experience with AWS, GCP or another major cloud platform is an advantage.
• Understanding of application integration, APIs, databases and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, solution documentation or similar deliverables.
• Ability to understand complex IT landscapes and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and/or countries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with both business and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Architects, Product Owners, Cybersecurity and external partners.
• Experience in SAP or manufacturing/automotive environments is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
