Join our Laboratory Services team and help deliver the accurate, timely test results that physicians rely on to diagnose and monitor disease. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced lab environment, values precision, and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples using standardized procedures and automated laboratory instruments.
- Prepare, collect, and analyze bodily fluids and other specimens for abnormalities, including blood samples used in transfusion-related testing.
- Review results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical values, then report and document findings according to organizational standards.
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively while supporting routine maintenance and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, continuing education, and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science; preferred
- Certification: Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT; preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accurate, reliable results
- Ability to work safely with bloodborne pathogens, biological materials, hazardous medications, latex, and chemical hazards
- Comfort with frequent sitting, computer work, equipment handling, and occasional standing, walking, and light lifting
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements when handling demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and medical record information
