Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will assist with the accounting functions processed at our Corporate Offices.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

General Ledger closing
Perform Raw Material Billing Functions.
Maintain Raw Material pricing, including formula pricing on supplier contracts.
Inventory reconciliation and analysis
Cost analysis
Working with internal and external auditors
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 2 years of industry accounting experience.
Proficiency in Excel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle accounting system experience desired.
Good communication skills both oral and written.
Team player; works well with others.
Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
Good math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Position is based in an office environment
Occasionally exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, varying temperatures, and biohazardous conditions.
Occasionally travel to off-site locations is required.
Requires prolonged sitting and movement throughout office/work locations, as well as occasional use of computers and office equipment.
Must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.
Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards.
Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10lbs.
