Training & Education Manager

The Role
The Training and Education Manager is responsible for building, scaling, and managing the local training and education infrastructure. This role encompasses two critical pillars: driving Professional Education for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure clinical excellence, and developing Patient Education strategies to enhance patient flow and stimulate market demand.
The position ensures the quality, effectiveness, and execution of all educational programs while strictly alignment with business cycles, budget constraints, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Professional Education & Curriculum Development (HCP Focus)
- CE & Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement the annual, quarterly, and monthly Customer Education (CE) plans and specialized internal training aligned with product launch timelines and sales cycles.
- KOL & Speaker Management: Build and lead local Speaker Development Programs in alignment with regional guidelines; recruit, manage, and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and local clinical trainers.
- University Collaborations: Partner with top dental universities to support post-graduate education by co-developing clinical curricula and organizing Master Classes (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced).
- B2B & DSO Training Support: Coordinate closely with the sales organization to design and deliver technical/clinical product training modules tailored for high-profile Corporate Accounts, VIPs, and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs).

2. Patient Education & Demand Generation (Patient Focus)
- Patient Flow Strategy: Design and execute clinical-based patient education initiatives to drive patient flow in clinics, supporting overall market demand generation.
- Educational Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing teams to adapt and develop clear, patient-friendly educational materials, treatment brochures, and communication tools that map the patient journey.
- Clinic Enablement & Consultation: Conduct specialized clinical communication training for dental assistants and clinic front-line staff to empower them to effectively consult patients and improve treatment acceptance rates.
3. Operations, Planning, and Financial Controlling
- Budgeting & ROI Tracking: Manage the annual educational budget. Implement robust tracking metrics, including a Training Matrix and sales follow-up analysis, to report ROI on educational activities to Senior Management.
- Content & Presentation Adaptation: Adapt, refine, and upgrade sales training materials, demonstration equipment, and technical presentation slides to ensure they meet local market dynamics.
- Internal Staff Competency: Provide continuous clinical and product knowledge training to Sales Executives and internal staff to support ongoing business growth.

- Reports to: Senior Marketing & Education Manager
- Direct Interacts with: Head of Sales, Regional T&E Manager, Universities, Corporate Customers/DSOs, and Sales Executives.
The Profile (Job Requirements)
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (DDS), Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related clinical/business field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in adult education, clinical training, or instructional content development within the medical device/dental industry.
- Clinical Practice: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on medical/clinical practice in hospitals or clinics is highly preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Thai (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
