Salary Range

The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $18.25 to $25.95 per hour. (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements).

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Pharmacy Technician National Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) and New York State registration within 1 year of hire required
- Prior Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Prior experience with EPIC, Willow Ambulatory preferred
- A strong understanding of generic and brand medication names.
- Understanding of medical terminology preferred
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to share information clearly with peers, supervisors, and healthcare customers.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills with an ability to master department-specific software.
- Comfort calculating dosages using standard ratios, proportions, and basic algebra.
- A strong understanding of generic and brand medication names.
