Purpose

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the continued growth of Accor Apartments & Realty's management rights portfolio. Working closely with apartment owners, investors, developers, real estate agents and internal stakeholders, you'll identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing owner relationships and maximise the number of apartments under management across our portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven relationship builder who enjoys working across the property and hospitality sectors. Reporting to the Manager, Development & Projects, you will focus on portfolio growth, owner retention and delivering outstanding customer experiences while contributing to the success of one of the world's leading hospitality groups.

This role is available as a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - Parental/Maternity Leave Contract

Primary Responsibilities

Drive portfolio growth by securing new management rights opportunities across existing and emerging apartment developments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with apartment owners, investors, developers, real estate agents and referral partners.
Identify and convert new management opportunities through market research, networking and proactive business development.
Present Accor Apartments & Realty's management services and value proposition to prospective owners and investors.
Manage the onboarding process for new owners, including preparation of management agreements and investor documentation.
Develop long-term owner relationships that support portfolio retention and future growth opportunities.
Support management agreement renewals through commercial analysis, negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
Work collaboratively with General Managers, Owner Relations Managers, Operations Teams and Asset Management to achieve portfolio growth objectives.
Monitor property sales activity, market trends and competitor performance to identify commercial opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and reporting on growth opportunities, renewals and portfolio performance.
Represent Accor Apartments & Realty at owner meetings, AGMs, industry events and networking opportunities.
Promote Accor's services, refurbishment initiatives and investment opportunities that add value for owners.

Skills and Experience

Current Queensland Real Estate Sales Certificate or Full Real Estate Licence (essential).
Current driver's licence with the ability to travel as required.
Demonstrated experience in business development, sales or account management within the property, real estate, hospitality or tourism industries.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and achieve commercial growth targets.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded with the ability to analyse market trends, rental returns and investment opportunities.
Experience using Salesforce (CRM), SIHOT Property Management System (PMS) and RP Data (CoreLogic) will be highly regarded.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
Highly organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
