Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bids, Contracts and Pricing Specialist to lead our commercial bidding strategy and pricing policies. This strategic role requires a professional with 5+ years of experience in similar position who will coordinate commercial committees, manage contractual matters, and ensure pricing coherence across all business units.
Qualifications
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Commercial Committee Leadership
- Coordinate and supervise commercial committees for each offer, ensuring alignment across all departments (productive and support teams) to guarantee successful project execution.
Risk and Value Assessment
- Identify project risks and unique selling points (USPs) during offer review processes, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of each opportunity.
Contract Management
- Handle contractual topics including payment conditions, billing terms, and project margins. Review sales contracts and coordinate with legal and production teams to ensure compliance with all requirements.
Pricing Management
- Organize and coordinate the definition of pricing policies with product managers, establishing reference prices for each service and ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Analyze the implementation of pricing policies to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
Strategic Planning
- Coordinate with product managers and country sales managers to define annual objectives. Present objectives to management for approval and coordinate sales action plans across relevant teams.
Profit management
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of profit margins across all products, services, and business units to identify improvement opportunities and areas of concern. Monitor key financial performance metrics including gross margin, net margin, and EBITDA, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Identify and eliminate profit leakage through systematic review of pricing structures, discounting practices, and contract terms, implementing corrective measures to protect and enhance organizational profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, pricing, or contract management roles
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract law
- Proficiency in data analysis and CRM platform usage
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and objective setting
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work across multiple departments
- Experience in automotive or engineering services industry (preferred)
- Ability to identify risks and value propositions in complex commercial scenarios
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
