Location: This is a field-based opportunity with coverage across several U.S. locations, rather than being solely based in Research Triangle Park, NC.

The Grow@BASF Internship Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in the classroom to meaningful, real-world assignments while developing both technical and professional skills.
Students will be hired and employed through a third-party contracting agency - Raise Recruiting.Opportunities are based on business needs at our sites.
Candidates resumes will be presented to BASF based on requirements of the assignments being a match and fit based on experience. BASF's Grow@BASF internship programs were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded university students with opportunities to enhance their professional skills through diverse learning experiences.
As a Commercial Business intern within Agricultural Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world business projects, collaborate with experienced BASF professionals and gain exposure to different areas of our commercial organization.
Program Summary:
As a highly motivated undergraduate student, you will participate in a 12-week summer internship working alongside a mentor and BASF commercial teams.
Commercial internship assignments may include opportunities within:
- Product Marketing
- Customer Experience
- Digital Tools
- Communications
- Market Analysis
- Logistics and Supply Chain
Depending on your assignment, your experience may include:
- Supporting meaningful projects that address real-world commercial and business needs.
- Collecting, organizing and analyzing business or market data to help identify trends and opportunities.
- Using Microsoft Excel and other applications specific to your internship assignment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and experienced BASF professionals.
- Supporting projects related to customers, products, markets, communications, digital tools or business operations.
- Developing recommendations, presentations and other project deliverables.
- Building your business, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills through hands-on assignments.
- Gaining exposure to BASF's Agricultural Solutions business, customers and commercial strategy.
- Mobility is important for this program
Internship assignments may be located in a variety of locations throughout the United States, including BASF's North American headquarters in the Raleigh, NC area.
Throughout the summer, interns will receive ongoing feedback, mentorship and professional development opportunities. Interns will be assessed for potential future opportunities, which may include a returning internship or, where applicable, a full-time opportunity within one of BASF's Professional Development rotational programs.
